Sustrans have produced a new management handbook
Sustrans have produced new management handbook to help everyone involved in managing linear land along greenways, to encourage and connect people, wildlife, and the environment by making them as rich in diversity of life, interesting and accessible as possible.
The handbook offers lots of practical advice and examples of best practice. It also outlines 10 principles for managing greenways and three key processes of preparing and implementing greenway management plans - Understand, Manage, and Monitor.
