Paths and Climate Change Networking Day Report - February 2012
SNH have produced a report summarising the networking day which took place on the Fife Coastal Path in early February 2012
The networking day was a follow up to a research report produced in 2011 titled 'Paths and climate change - an investigation into the potential implications of climate change on the planning, design, construction and management of paths in Scotland'.
The primary aim of the networking day was 'to look at practical examples of path management that are likely to be affected by climate change and extreme weather events using the Fife coastal path as an example', and a secondary aim 'to introduce and test the climate change risk assessment process with practitioners, which was developed as part of the paths and climate change research'.
