The National Standards for Community Engagement have been reviewed and updated
The National Standards for Community Engagement were reviewed and updated during 2015/16 and launched on 29th September 2016.
The National Standards are good practive principles designed to support and inform the process of community engagement and user involvement in Scotland, to improve what happens as a result.
The National Standards have been simplified to seven Standards, reflecting the main elements of good community engagement - Inclusion, Support, Planning, Working Together, Methods, Communication and Impact.
